Oregon State Fair Admissions Team Information

Our team will handle all admission-related services at the Oregon State Fair, including parking sales, ticket sales, ticket taking, bag checking, and general gate operations.

1. Pay Rates

• Gate Ticket Seller: $17.75 per hour

• Gate Ticket Taker: $17.50 per hour

• Parking Seller: $17.75 per hour

• Bag Checker: $17.50 per hour

• General Event Staff: $17.50 per hour

2. Hiring and Onboarding

All team members must complete our hiring and onboarding process, which includes:

• Online employment application

• Virtual interview

• Electronic HR and payroll paperwork

• Background check

• ​

3. Shift Length

Most shifts are approximately 8 to 12 hours long. Actual shift lengths may vary depending on the position and operational needs.

 

4. Overtime

Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40 during our established workweek, which runs from Friday through Thursday.

5. Self-Scheduling

You will be able to select your own shifts using our scheduling app or online scheduling system. Available shifts will be posted, allowing you to choose the dates, times, and positions that work best for you.

6. Opportunities Beyond the Fair

After the Oregon State Fair, you are welcome to remain with our company and work at other events throughout the area and across Oregon.

We provide hotel accommodations for qualifying team members who travel with us. We also provide year-round parking services for events held at the Oregon State Fairgrounds, giving you additional opportunities to work close to home.
